Computers and Wi-Fi

Computers

In the Library, there is 1 desktop PC connected to the University Intranet that can be reserved through the Affluences app Affluences immage.

Computers are for Internet research related to institutional activities, in compliance with applicable regulations and University guidelines (ITA) on the use of electronic resources.
Installing any kind of software is not allowed.

Librarians may reserve the Library desktop when assisting users with bibliographic research.

 

Laptops

Thanks to a project promoted by the Sciences Libraries, a laptop loan service is available.

The Library provides 4 notebooks to users to surf the web freely thanks to the Wi-Fi network.
The use of the notebooks is permitted within the library premises and is reserved for university institutional users.

Usage rules can be viewed once each laptop is switched on.

 

Wi-Fi

The Eduroam Wi-Fi service is available within the Library. Eduroam is a network developed for the university and research community, and it is widespread worldwide in over 70 countries. It allows all students and employees of participating institutions to connect to the Internet both at their institution and at any other institution where the network is available.

To use the network, you need to have an institutional email and register your device (computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.).
