The University Library System is the collection of library resources and services of the University of Padua.

The mission of the University Library System is:
- to preserve, update and promote the use of the University's bibliographic and documentary collections
- to guarantee the broadest possible e-access to scientific information through the University Digital Library
- to support University research and teaching activities
- to support the Users of the Library System
The University Library System includes the following:
The University Library System's political body is the Technical-Scientific Committee (CTS). It identifies, plans, and monitors the activities carried out by the Library Centre and libraries within the System, following University policies.
The Technical-Scientific Committee President is Prof. Monica Salvadori – Vice-Rector of Historical and Cultural Heritage.

Third Mission
The University of Padua Library System contributes to the institutional Third Mission by organising numerous public engagement initiatives, events, and projects supporting Open Science through cultural events and science dissemination.
