Access and spaces
Everyone has access to the library.
Access is controlled by an anti-shoplifting gate with a radio frequency system.
Central Library
From Via Loredan 20, the entrance is on the second floor where there is a reception room and two reading rooms named Ghetti and Sarpi, totalling 61 seats, see the layout. The first room houses books, and the second one current year issues of periodicals.
The library is spread over three floors: on the first are the administrative offices and the tower warehouse, not accessible to users, where less frequently consulted books are stored and supplied on request; on the third, accessible by users via an internal elevator, is the periodicals warehouse.

The reading room has 62 seats, see the layout. Fixed shelves for books and mobile shelves for periodicals are arranged in the same room.

From Via Gradenigo 6/A, the entrance is on the second floor of the building on the classroom side of the department.
It is divided into two reading rooms, on the second floor and the ground floor, and has 75 seats, see the layout. Fixed shelves for books are arranged in both rooms, while mobile shelves for periodicals are on the ground floor.
Reception and Orientation
The Reception and Orientation Service is staffed during the entire opening hours and provides the information needed to make the best use of the library.
The reception desk in each library provides the first orientation in the selection and use of available information resources.
