Guest user card
People who do not have a formal research, teaching or working affiliation with the University of Padua and therefore do not have an institutional e-mail address are considered guest users. Users interested in accessing the University's libraries and using their services may apply for the SBA guest user card.
The SBA card, which costs 1.00 Euro, is valid in all the University libraries and is unlimited in duration. After 5 years of inactivity, the user's data will be deleted from the system.
The SBA card makes it possible:
- access all university libraries
- consult printed and electronic resources in the library or the University network
- make photocopies and prints
- request bibliographical assistance
- access the local lending service
- attend training courses
- access paid services, such as
- Document delivery
- Interlibrary loan
- Bibliographic assistance with the production of specialised bibliographies at the Biblioteca Medica Centrale "Vincenzo Pinali"
Rules and conditions
Guest users must go to any university library with an identity card and National Health card with tax code and fill in the University Library System registration form.
The card can be paid by cash, POS card, or via PagoAtenei — PagoPA. To pay via PagoPA, go to CAB — Payment of library services page and follow the instructions.
The SBA card grants access to the local lending service at all University libraries. Some services may require charges to be paid separately.
