Access and spaces
Access to the Chemistry Library is open to all.
The library is located on the second floor of the building and can also be reached by lift. Access to the ground floor is provided by a ramp-slide.
There are 70 seats in the reading room, 4 of which have fixed PC stations available to users. Most of the seats are equipped with electrical sockets.
You can check opening hours and seating availability by downloading the Affluences app or Affluences via web; to access the reading room, you must reserve your seat via Affluences. Upon arrival at the library, it is necessary to validate your attendance within 30 minutes from the time of booking by framing the QR code on the seat.
Are you a guest user? To have full access to all library services you can apply for a guest user card, directly at the library counter.
The deposit of bags and backpacks is not mandatory, however, 30 lockers are available at the entrance for those who prefer to deposit personal belongings while studying in the library.
Please note that:
Lockers may only be used while occupying a seat in the library.
The storage service does not guarantee any kind of safekeeping, so it is not recommended to store valuable objects.
The Library Management assumes no responsibility for any loss or theft of deposited items.
It is forbidden to bring suitcases, trolleys and any other bulky luggage into the library.
Drinks and food cannot be consumed in the reading room.
