Intra-university lending service
Who can use the service?
The Intra-university lending service can be requested by the following University of Padua users:
- lecturers, researchers, and research collaborators
- students with disabilities
- students using the "Pietro Arduino" library of the Agripolis campus (Legnaro), the "Luigi Chiereghin" Library (Treviso), and the library of the Technology and Management of Industrial Systems department (Vicenza)
What is the service?
The intra-university lending service allows authorized users to obtain through their reference library books held in other libraries of the University of Padova Library System.
How to use the intra-university lending service
Any texts you are interested in must be requested - via e-mail using your university e-mail address (name.surname@unipd.it or name.surname@studenti.unipd.it), which is to be sent to your library or the library where the books are held. The e-mail should include:
- the author, title, year of publication, and catalogue details of the books being requested, the library where they are held, and the reference library where you wish to pick them up;
- your name and surname and, if you are a student, your student ID number.
Or in person at one of the libraries’ welcome desks by filling in the appropriate form.
Collecting requested books
Users are notified about the status of their requests via e-mail and from the moment of the notice the local lending conditions for picking-up the books apply.
Returning borrowed books
The books can be returned to your library or to the library where the books are held.
