Lending policies

The tables below show the number and duration of loans of the "Loanable" bibliographic materials, depending on the type of user.

Two cases of bibliographic materials can only be loaned to particular types of users, as described in the table below. These materials are indicated as ‘Research Fund’ and ‘7-day Loan’ in GalileoDiscovery. Psychodiagnostic tests stored in the Test Section of the Biblioteca Centrale di Psicologia "Fabio Metelli" also belong to the material available as ‘7-day loan’.

Books marked as ‘Not loanable’ in GalileoDiscovery cannot be lent to users but can be consulted in the library.

 

Requested books pick-up

When the requested book is available, the user is notified by telephone or e-mail.

The user must register the loan of the reserved book in:

  • 7 working days for 30-day or 60-day loanable books
  • 4 working days for 15-day loanable books
