Access and spaces
Who can access
Access to the library is open to all by appointment.
Bags and backpacks must be deposited in the lockers provided.
Reading rooms
The reception room and reading rooms are located on the first floor of the 16th-century building, which is located after the iron entrance gate to the Botanical Garden, but outside the garden itself.
The library has a reading room dedicated to consulting ancient material, with 15 seats, and a section dedicated to consulting modern material, with 10 seats.
Institutional and guest users
Anyone who has a formal relationship with the University and has an email address @unipd or @studenti.unipd.it is considered an institutional user and as such is authorized to access the services.
Even those who do not have a formal relationship with the University can access the library and its services.
