Access and spaces
Access to the library is granted to both institutional and guest users. Even people of legal age who do not have a formal relationship with the University of Padua can access.
Study places
There are 104 seats available for students and scholars, spread over 6 rooms.
To stay in the library spaces, it is required to make an online reservation via the Affluences service.
Places reserved for research staff
Sala Lanaro (or Room T) is reserved for those consulting library materials and the University's research staff (lecturers, researchers, PhD students, Erasmus Mundus).
There are 24 seats available (from no. 81 to no. 104).
Equipment
In the front office room you will find the printed catalogue sorted alphabetically by titles and authors (closed on 31 December 2005) and 2 PCs set aside to consult GalileoDiscovery.
In Room S there are 4 PC workstations for Internet use (access with SSO), which can be booked through Affluences.
Two photocopiers are available in the dedicated room at the ground floor level.
The Eduroam Wi-Fi network, reserved for university users, is active within the library.
