Access and spaces
Access
The library can be accessed by both university users and guest users. Persons of full age who do not have a formal relationship with the University of Padua may also gain access.
For permanence in the library rooms, it is mandatory to make a seat reservation via the Affluences app or Affluences web version. Upon arrival at the library, you must validate your presence by scanning the QR code available at the entrance or asking the library staff.
No reservations are necessary for information, loans, and returns of books.
Welcoming and Orientation
The staff at the Welcome Desk is available to all users to provide an initial orientation on how to select and use the library resources.
Users who need customized support in their advanced bibliographic research activities can make use of the bibliographic assistance service.
Spaces
There are 94 study seats available, as shown in the map uploaded on Affluences.
A reservation is required to access the consultation rooms (Sala Dati Statistici, Sala Volumi, Sala Matematica), the computer stations, and the individual or group study areas (Corridoio Didattici e Front Office, Corridoio Postazioni ASID, Group Study Room).

Library rules
To avoid damage to heritage, furniture and equipment, users are not allowed to eat inside the library and may only drink beverages in resealable containers.
To not disturb other users' study and research, keep the voice quiet or low and deactivate the phone’s ringtone.
Remember not to leave personal and valuable items unattended when you are away.
