Access and spaces
Access
The library can be accessed by both university users and guest users. Persons of legal age who do not have any formal relationship with Padua University may also access.
Seat reservation via the Affluences app or Affluences web version is mandatory. Reservations must be validated in presence at the library front desk by scanning the QR code available on a screen or asking the library staff.
No reservation is required for information, book loans and returns.
Welcoming and Orientation
Library staff is available at the Welcome Desk for guidance on how to search, select and use the library resources.
Users who need customized support in their advanced bibliographic research activities may refer to the bibliographic assistance service.
Spaces
A total of 94 study seats are available, as shown in the map uploaded on Affluences.
Reservation is required for access to the consultation rooms (Sala Dati Statistici, Sala Volumi, Sala Matematica), the computer stations and the individual or group study areas (Corridoio Didattici e Front Office, Corridoio Postazioni ASID, Group Study Room).

Library rules
To avoid damage to heritage, furniture and equipment, users are not allowed to eat inside the library and may only drink beverages in resealable containers.
In order not to disturb other users' study and research, silence or a lower tone of voice must be observed and phone ringtones must be deactivated.
Remember not to leave personal and valuable items unattended when you are away.
