Access and spaces

Access to the Library is allowed to both institutional and guest users. 

For consultation and study, there are 32 places available, four of which have a PC workstation:

• 18 seats in Sala grande for consultation and where the front office is located
• 8 seats in Sala piccola
• 6 seats in the Sala riviste/riunioni

Seats can be reserved via the website or the Affluences app, the reservation must then be validated in the library.

The rooms are dedicated primarily to consulting books or magazines in the library. You may also study your books and bring your computer or other media. In Sala grande all tables are equipped with power sockets.

Staff on duty at the circulation desk is available to all users to provide initial orientation in the selection and use of available information resources. For an advanced bibliographic search request bibliographic assistance. 

We would like to remind you of the main rules of behaviour in the library:

• do not leave tables and chairs in a mess, do not eat, and avoid disturbing other users.
• because of the limited number of places, it is not allowed to keep seats occupied if you are absent for more than an hour; please change or have your reservation changed to free up seats.
• abandoned material may be moved by staff, who are not liable for the personal belongings of absentees.
