Bibliographic assistance

What it is

It is a one-to-one bibliographic assistance service that:

  • offers advice and support on bibliographic research for thesis writing or other needs
  • offers assistance in retrieving documents and references from validated sources

About us

All the libraries of the Social Sciences Library Cluster participate in the service:

What we answer

We respond to requests on:

  • assistance in using bibliographic research tools to find documents necessary for the final examination, thesis, articles, etc.
  • instructions for accessing documents available in hard copy or online
  • instructions on how to cite and write bibliographies

We do not answer to:

  • requests for specific services (e.g. library information, loans and reservations, document supply, interlibrary loan, etc.), for which you can contact the library directly
  • general queries (e.g. simple search for individual books or periodicals, off-campus connection, thesis deposit, etc.), for which you can contact the Helpline provided by the University Library System.

We do not provide any copy documentation (articles, book chapters, etc.) and/or comprehensive bibliographies.

The service is open to everyone:

  • students
