Library: evening access

Starting September 28, opening hours have resumed until 11:00 PM.

After 7:00 PM, access to the Library is permitted only to those with an already enabled card, which is required to open the doors of the portico (EAST side, towards Economics) and of Tower A. To open the doors, place your card on the external reader at either door.

The card required for access is:

• University badge — for students and staff of the University
• SBA card — for external users

How to enable your card

Cards are already enabled for:

• staff of the Department of Mathematics
• students enrolled on degree programmes run by the Department of Mathematics.

Other users must request activation by sending an email to: serale@math.unipd.it indicating:

• first name, surname and student ID number (for students and staff)
• first name, surname and SBA card number (for external users)

University students and staff must send the request from their institutional email address: nome.cognome@studenti.unipd.it or nome.cognome@unipd.it. Students must request a new activation whenever their student ID number changes.

Activation will be completed within 2 working days of the request.

For security reasons, every user must swipe their own card at the readers of both entry points.

After 7:00 PM, it is necessary to carry the enabled card even for brief exits from the library.
