20 February: World Day of Social Justice
A selection of legal volumes on human rights and the challenges of contemporary social justice.
Our library holds a broad and diverse collection, offering multiple perspectives on social justice and rights.
On the occasion of the World Day of Social Justice, we present a curated selection of volumes exploring the various dimensions of social justice. The selection includes works in civil, constitutional, and international law; studies on human rights, restorative justice, economics, and social policy; as well as philosophical and sociological reflections.
The volumes address issues of distributive and social justice, economic inequality, prisoners’ rights, integration and migration, sexual orientation and gender identity, environmental sustainability, tax justice, and alternative models of criminal justice. The collection also includes analyses of the functioning of public institutions, constitutional frameworks, comparative law, and legal practice, offering diverse and complementary perspectives.
All volumes are available in the library. While not exhaustive, this collection provides a broad overview of contemporary reflections and practices in the field of social justice, offering practical tools to better understand how law and public policy can contribute to building more equitable and inclusive societies.
