The library

The collections of DTG Library in Vicenza cover the following subjects in different depths: management engineering, control engineering, information processing systems, applied economics, business economics, business economics and management, corporate finance, business organisation, statistics for experimental and technological research, sociology of economic and work processes, and operations research.

The library of the Department of Management and Engineering, a former Institute, was founded in 1992 with the financial contribution of the Banca Popolare di Vicenza and the Consortium for the Development of University Studies in Vicenza, following the set up of the Engineering Management degree course and the bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Engineering.

From 1992 to 1998 the library had its headquarters on the third floor of the building that temporarily housed the University in Vicenza, located in Viale X Giugno in front of the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Monte Berico.
In 1999, the library was definitively moved to Piazzetta San Nicola; nowadays, it is affiliated with the Central Engineering Library.
