Photocopying, printing and scanning

Copy centers

It is possible to use, in the immediate vicinity of the library, two copy centers, open continuously from Monday to Saturday.
Non-loanable material such as manuals, dictionaries and journal issues can be taken out after depositing an identity document in the library.

 

Reproduction by own devices

Law 124/2017 allows you to freely photograph the contents of printed volumes for any cultural purpose not for profit.
Reproduction can be carried out with one's own devices, without flashes, stands or tripods, with techniques that do not cause damage to the document and in compliance with copyright.

 

Which materials can be photocopied and scanned?

The reproduction of bibliographic material from libraries is permitted in compliance with current law on copyright and the licenses in place.

 

What materials are excluded from photocopying?

Rare and valuable volumes, manuscripts, large formats, musical scores, photographs and material in a poor state of preservation are excluded from the reproduction service. For requests for material with these characteristics, contact the library that holds the document.

Photo reproduction is permitted in compliance with the law on copyright, Law 22 April 1941 n. 633 and subsequent amendments.
The user assumes all responsibility for the use that will be made of the reproductions, as any subsequent reproduction or publication for commercial use is strictly prohibited.
