Coursebooks

If you want to know which textbooks are being adopted in your Course of study, and where they are located, access the University's Educational Offer website.

Click on your Course of study and, in the Syllabus area, on the icon next to the book you are looking for, to check its availability in GalileoDiscovery.

The Library purchases at least one copy of all adopted texts, in print and/or electronic format:

  • if the book is only available in one print copy, that copy is excluded from the loan and available for consultation on-site
  • if we have two print copies, one is excluded from the loan and the other is allowed for the loan for 15 days, renewable unless booked by other users
  • an electronic version is also available for some titles: check GalileoDiscovery or see if, on the shelf next to the print book, there is a red card with a QR code to access the ebook directly from your device

 

Textbooks from the current and previous academic years are placed in the DIDA.ECO (economics) and DIDA.GEO (geography) sections in the front-office room:

  • those with the white label are loanable for 15 days
  • those marked with a red line on the label can only be read on-site and are therefore excluded from lending

 

For textbooks that are not present in the library, a purchase request can be filled out, indicating in the note the name of the Course and the teacher in charge.
