Cartoteca
The Cartoteca preserves the cartographic heritage accumulated during the years by the “Institutes of Geography and Physical Geography” first (1873-1983) and the “Department of Geography” later (1984-2011).
The impressive cartographic heritage, accumulated in 140 years of academic life by one of the oldest and most prestigious historical institutions of Italian Geography (Padua was one of the first universities in Europe to provide a chair of Geography) derives from the continuous acquisitions made over time.
