Library spaces and eligible users

The library has two rooms for consultation and study; one for current periodicals, the other for monographs.
The Library have some computer workstations available for online research and catalogues and databases consultation.
In the basement there are two deposits, for periodicals and monographs.

Users who have a formal relationship with the University of Padua (institutional users) can access the library and all its services.
Adults without a formal relationship with the University are allowed to access the library as well, but they need to request a registration as "guest users" to use the services.

In the library you can find two multifunction printers (scanner and photocopier) in black and white / colour and a dedicated computer for the GalileoDiscovery consultation.

The Eduroam Wireless connection is available inside the library.

Book your seat via Affluences

To stay in the library for studying and/or consultation purposes, it is necessary to book a seat via the Affluences app, also available in the web version.
Once you arrive at the library, the reservation must be validated by scanning with the app the QR Code displayed at the Information desk, or by typing in the app the code printed under the QR Code. In case of problems, you can also ask the library staff for validation.
The reservation can be validated from 10 minutes before to 30 minutes after the beginning of the time slot; if not validated, the reservation will be cancelled and the place will become available for other reservations.
