Journals and articles
If you want to know if the Library owns a journal, you can enter the journal title in the search box of GalileoDiscovery Journal Search.
Since 2023, all the Library journals and magazines have been transferred either to the Department of Mathematics or to the "Nuovo Archivio di Legnaro" (NAL).
Neither location is open to the public. To retrieve an article from a journal that is kept in Legnaro Archive (in GalileoDiscovery, they have "Deposito Legnaro" in the location info), you need to sign on to GalileoDiscovery and forward a request that must have all the bibliographic information.
University users receive a scanned copy of the document, or they can pick up the paper copy at the Library that owns the document.
Guest users have to pick up a paper copy of the document they requested at the Library that owns the document.
Now, most scientific journals are available in electronic format directly through the University network. If you are off-campus, you need to connect to the University network by eduVPN or Single Sign On. Please check the off-campus connection for further information on those procedures.
If the starting point of your search is a bibliographic record, you can choose the option Fetch Item (Citation Linker) from the menu. Include in the search field all the information useful to find what you are looking for (title of the article, title of the journal, publication year, number of the issue).
