Books

The Library's book collections cover, with different levels of depth, various subject areas: methodological statistics, applied statistics, demography, mathematics, computer science, and econometrics.

If you are looking for a book, in print or electronic format, consult the Padua Library System's tool for bibliographic research, GalileoDiscovery.

Most of the books in the Library are on open shelves and sorted by subject (see map). When you have found the books that you want, you can take them and consult them on-site. The books marked ARCH need to be requested from the Welcome Desk.

To find out which print books the library has on a particular subject, scroll down the classification scheme (ITA).

To borrow a book, bring it with your University Card to the Library Welcome Desk, and the staff will issue it to you.

If you do not find the documents you were looking for, you can try to use other Italian and foreign catalogues or ask librarians for support.

Through the InterLibrary Loan service, you can ask for books not available in Padua libraries.

Through the Document Delivery service, the University of Padua Libraries supplies users with copies of documents, such as journal articles, book chapters, etc, not available in any of their collections.

Institutional and guest users can also make purchase suggestions by filling in an online form on GalileoDiscovery (ITA) or by contacting the Library by email.

eBooks
