Books

The Library's book collections cover, with different levels of depth, various subject areas: methodological statistics, applied statistics, demography, mathematics, computer science, and econometrics.

If you are looking for a book, in print or electronic format, consult the Padua Library System's tool for bibliographic research GalileoDiscovery.

Most of the books in the Library are on open shelves and sorted by subject (see map). When you have found the books that you want, you can take them and consult them on-site. To borrow a book, bring it with your University Card to the Library Welcome Desk and the staff will issue it to you. The books are marked ARCH. need to be requested to the Welcome Desk.

To find out which print books the library has on a particular subject, scroll down the classification scheme (ITA).

The University Library System offers a rich collection of eBooks, available online and searchable with GalileoDiscovery and on the MLOL – MediaLibraryOnLine portal.
