  • Patent Public Search - Free access US patent database
  • Esp@cenet - Free access European and international patent database
  • Google Patents - Free access
  • Reaxys - Database that also draws from the Patent Chemistry Database, access via SSO or university network/Auth-proxy

Patents in AdisInsight

Information on drug-related patents is also contained in the AdisInsight platform (university network/Auth-proxy access).

For each drug profile in AdisInsight, there is a corresponding patent profile that presents the global situation and market exclusivities protecting that drug. The information is presented in summary tables to facilitate quick and easy understanding of key patent information that influences the drug landscape and determines generic entry timings.

Patent profiles include:

  • Drug name
  • Country
  • Patent number
  • Claim type
  • Patent title
  • Filing date
  • Patent expiry date
  • Brand name
  • BLA / NDA / ANDA
  • Patent applicant
