Coursebooks
Coursebooks on the shelves in the Benedetti Study Room are marked with the DIDA marking and the presence of a coloured sticker specifying loan conditions:
- 🟡 yellow label: lendable 1 day (night or holiday lending: takes place Monday through Friday starting at 5 p.m., with a return by 10 a.m. the following weekday)
- 🟢 green label: lendable 15 days. The loan of these books is renewable for a maximum total of 75 days
As a rule, coursebooks are available in two copies: one for reference in the library, and the other for 15 days.
To learn about and search for texts included in a teaching program, you can consult the teaching portal.
In the top right-hand corner search for the teaching of interest, once located go to the bottom of the teaching page and inside the “reference texts” box find the bibliography of reference texts with a Search in catalogue lens icon next to each title. Click on the Search the Catalog icon and access the Galileo Discovery catalogue to find out who owns that text or to access the digital version if available.
If a coursebook is not available in the library, you can place a purchase request through Galileo Discovery; remember to indicate the name of the teacher and the teacher(s) responsible. The Library Committee will consider your request to evaluate the purchase.
