Access and seat availability

The library remains open to all categories of users for reference, borrowing and research. 

A total of 90 seats are available to users (see map) by mandatory reservation through the Affluences App. It is possible to find the seat availability of the Geosciences library and all other University libraries through the Affluences app, which can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play.

For security reasons, the basement level is limited in accessibility, and registration is required at the information desk, where you can consult the security procedures(ITA).

Food and beverage

To avoid damage to documents, furniture and equipment, users cannot eat inside the library and may only drink beverages in resealable containers.

Cell phones and respect for silence

Users are asked to use their cell phones without disturbing others, not to engage in phone conversations, and to turn off the phone ringer in the library. Users are also asked to maintain silence or a low tone of voice inside the study room.
