Spaces and study places
The Library of Physics and Astronomy is open to university and guest users for reading, borrowing, and bibliographical research.
The Library of Physics is located on the 2nd floor of the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Please take a look at the map.
Books that are housed in other locations
- Around 2,500 books are available at the Library of Osservatorio Astronomico INAF (Vicolo Dell'Osservatorio n.5) on the first floor. They are available during library opening hours.
- About 1,400 books, identified by the AS... code, are stored at the Osservatorio Astrofisico (Via dell'Osservatorio, 8 - 36012 Asiago, VI). They are not available for direct borrowing but can be requested through interlibrary loan..
Book a seat
To access the Library of Physics, via Marzolo, you must book your seat through Affluences, or by Affluences via the web.
Upon arrival at the library, confirm your reservation within 30 minutes by scanning the QR code on the table.
The 70 study places are equipped with electric plugs and are distributed as follows:
- 36 in the Sala Spazio (S01-S036) – see seat map
- 28 in the Sala Tempo (T01-T028) – see seat map
- 6 in the Atrio (A01-A06) – see seat map. Seats A01-A04 can be booked for group study.
The Astronomy location is on the ground floor of Vicolo Dell'Osservatorio No. 3. Please take a look at the map.
- The 8 study places are freely accessible.
Welcome and orientation
At the information desk, library staff are available to offer initial guidance on selecting and using information resources.
For more advanced bibliographic searches, ask staff, or make an appointment.
