Spaces and study places
The Library of Physics and Astronomy is open to university and guest users for reading, borrowing and bibliographical research.
The Library of Physics is located on the 2nd floor of the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Please take a look at the map.
You must book your seat through Affluences, or by Affluences via the web.
Upon arrival at the library, confirm your reservation within 30 minutes by scanning the QR code on the table.
The 70 study places are equipped with electric plugs and are distributed as follows:
- 36 in the Sala Spazio (S01-S036) – see seat map
- 28 in the Sala Tempo (T01-T028) – see seat map
- 6 in the Atrio (A01-A06) – see seat map. Seats A01-A04 can be booked for group study.
The Astronomy location is on the ground floor of Vicolo Dell'Osservatorio No. 3. Please take a look at the map.

Welcome and orientation
At the information desk, library staff are available to offer initial guidance on selecting and using information resources.
For more advanced bibliographic searches, ask staff, or make an appointment.

- keep personal belongings with you; the library isn't responsible for them
- only water in resealable containers is allowed
- food or other beverages are not allowed
