The library

The Philosophy Library, together with the Liviano, History and Beato Pellegrino Libraries, is part of the Polo Bibliotecario Umanistico, created in 2018 by merging the pre-existing Humanities Pole and Beato Pellegrino Pole.

The Library is located in Piazza Capitaniato 3, 35139 Padua, Second Floor Staircase A, and has approximately 105,000 modern monographic volumes and a total of 282 subscriptions to printed or online periodicals.

It manages the bibliographic reference collections for teaching and research in the Philosophical Sciences, including Ancient Philosophy, Medieval, Renaissance, Modern, Oriental, Logic, Theoretical, Aesthetics, Religions, Politics, Language, Science, Ethics and Bioethics.
