by selecting, acquiring, cataloguing, increasing and disseminating the related scientific production.
It takes care of the development, updating, conservation and enhancement of its documentary heritage for this purpose.
In addition to the bibliographic collection located in Agripolis, the library maintains the Vicenza and Conegliano sections, related to the degree courses located there.
The Library was founded in 1996 at the same time as the Agripolis Campus and is named after Pietro Arduino (1728-1805), historic custodian of the Botanical Garden of Padua, the first in the world to hold a chair of Agriculture (1765, Cathedra ad Agriculturam Exsperimentalem) at the University of Padua.
