Books
The book collection of the Library covers the disciplinary research areas of the Departments based in Agripolis and of the degree courses of the School of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, in particular Veterinary medicine, Animal sciences, Agricultural sciences, Forestry sciences, Landscape studies, Food science and technology, Viticultural and Enological Science and Technology.
To check if a book is available in the library and see where to find it, you need to consult GalileoDiscovery from any device connected to the network.
The books can be freely consulted on the shelves in the Reading Room of the library. The location is indicated by an alphanumeric classification code (e.g. M.636.3.B.25).
Most of the books in the Library have a location starting with M which indicates that the books can be freely taken from the room, where they are sorted by subject.
For the loan you need to ask a librarian.
If the location begins with a code other than M (e.g. CON, SIA, CCA, DT1, DT2, REC, ...) the books are not in the Reading Room but in detached locations and you must ask the library staff for their recovery. You may check the table at the entrance to the room to identify the exact sector of the locations.
Locations SIA
The books whose shelf marks start with SIA are stored in Vicenza at the Student Secretariat of the Degree Course in Food Health and Hygiene Safety.
Locations CON
Bookswhose shelf marks start with CON are stored in Conegliano at the headquarters of the Degree Course in Viticultural and Enological Sciences and Technologies.
