LibKey and BrowZine
To ease access to electronic resources, the University of Padua Library System provides institutional users with the LibKey suite of services based on innovative technology developed by Third Iron. This technology includes LibKey Nomad, LibKey.io and BrowZine.
LibKey Nomad
LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that allows a direct link to the full text of electronic resources provided by the University Library System or available Open Access.
With LibKey Nomad it is possible to obtain, in a single click, the full text of a journal article or e-book from the publisher platform, databases, Google Scholar, or Google Books.
LibKey Nomad enriches the web pages of various databases and services such as Scopus, PubMed, Google Scholar, and Wikipedia.

LibKey.io
LibKey.io is a tool that allows direct access to the full text of an electronic journal article (or e-book) by searching by DOI or PubMed ID (PMID).
Search by DOI or PubMed ID on LibKey.io
By entering the identifier in the search field, you will get a page from which you can:
- download the full text directly
- access the work on the publisher's page (Article link)
- if the work is a journal article, consult it in the context of the issue, with the possibility of expanding the search to all the contents of the available years of the journal in BrowZine
- view all available access options provided by the University of Padua in GalileoDiscovery

BrowZine
BrowZine allows the browsing of electronic journals, with a wide coverage of publishers starting from 2005.
Through an intuitive interface, you can:
- browse thousands of academic e-journals indexed by subject area
- search e-journals by title, subject or ISSN identifier
- create a personal shelf of favourite journals
- be notified of new articles and new issues of interest
- export citations to bibliography management systems
BrowZine is also available as an app for Android, iOS e FireOS devices.
