Miscellanies collect miscellaneous publications and are divided into:

• Miscellanies donated by Giorgio Dal Piaz, collecting abstracts from the late 19th century to 1995 (Miscellanea Grande; Miscellanea Piccola, Miscellanea Giorgio Dal Piaz)
• Miscellany of Publications by Teachers of the Former Institutes and the Department of Geosciences, up to 2012 (list of publications; catalogue list)
• Miscellany of the former Institute of Mineralogy (searchable in the catalogue)

The historical collections are divided into:

• Giorgio Dal Piaz collection (1872-1962)
• Giovan Battista Dal Piaz collection (1904-1995)
• Luigi De Marchi collection (1857-1936)
• Antique books, from the acquisition of the De Zigno collection by Giovanni Omboni and partly from works dispersed from the Botanical Garden during the 1926 renovation
